Gamma Review (2026): Pricing, Features & Is It Worth It?

Gamma turns a prompt or outline into a full slide deck, doc or one-page site in seconds - strong for speed and solo use, less transparent on what the paid tiers actually cost.

What Gamma does

Gamma generates full presentations, documents, simple websites and social content from a text prompt or an imported PDF/PPTX outline, then lets you keep editing in its own card-based canvas rather than a traditional slide grid. It exports to PDF, PPTX, PNG and Google Slides.

*Gamma's official pricing page (gamma.app/pricing, checked October 2026) offers a monthly/annual billing toggle but does not render dollar figures in the page content we could verify - the amounts appear to load dynamically and we could not confirm them directly. We are declaring this limit rather than quoting a third-party estimate. Feature tiers and the Free plan's limits above are taken verbatim from the same official page.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Genuinely fast from prompt to presentable deck - minutes, not hours
  • Free plan is usable on its own, not just a crippled trial
  • Exports to the formats people actually need (PPTX, Google Slides, PDF)
  • Real affiliate program for creators (PartnerStack, 25% first-year)

Cons

  • Exact paid-plan pricing isn't published as plain text on the official site
  • Card-based canvas is less precise than a traditional slide editor for pixel-level layout control
  • Brand/template consistency across many decks is weaker than template-first tools

FAQ

Is Gamma free to use?

Yes. The Free plan covers presentations, documents, simple sites, social content and basic images, with a 10-slide-per-prompt limit and standard import/export. Paid tiers raise that limit and add branding removal, premium models and API access.

How much do Gamma's paid plans cost?

We could not confirm exact dollar figures on gamma.app/pricing as of October 2026 - the page offers a monthly/annual toggle but doesn't display the amounts in the content we could verify. We're not going to guess, so check the official page directly for the current number in your region.

Does Gamma have an affiliate program?

Yes, run through PartnerStack, open to creators/educators/community builders, paying 25% of a referred customer's first year. ToolTrendIQ hasn't joined it as of this review.

Our take

Gamma earns its popularity on speed: feed it a rough idea and it hands back something you could present within the hour, which is hard to argue with for a solo creator or a founder prepping a last-minute deck. Where it loses points with us isn't the product - it's that we couldn't hand you a confirmed price for anything past the free tier, and we'd rather tell you that plainly than paste in a number from a site that isn't Gamma's own.
